Secure messaging app BChat has officially launched a communication solution that does not require a phone number, operating based on Beldex's decentralized infrastructure. According to a report from Analytics Insight, this platform is operated directly through a network of more than 2,000 Beldex nodes to optimize privacy and security for global users.

Context

Most traditional messaging apps today require users to link their accounts with personal phone numbers, creating large privacy loopholes and risks of data leaks. BChat addresses this issue by completely removing the requirement for sensitive personal information during registration. Instead, the system uses end-to-end encryption and decentralized identifiers to protect users' digital identities.

Running on over 2,000 Beldex nodes helps BChat maintain continuous operation without depending on any central server. According to Analytics Insight, this structure effectively prevents Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks and minimizes the risk of censorship or intervention from third parties.

Why It Matters

For the tech and Web3 community in Vietnam, the birth of BChat marks an important shift in secure communication trends. Users now have another choice for true anonymous messaging, not bound by traditional telecommunications carriers. While this decentralized model promises high security, the actual message transmission performance across nodes still needs to be further verified over actual operating time.
