Data we collect
When you subscribe to the newsletter, Kalera News stores: your email (required for the email channel), the cadence you chose (AI Brief / Deep Digest / Weekly), the topics you chose (AI / Robotics / Tech), and the signup time. Data is stored on Kalera's Postgres and is never sold to third parties.
When you read articles, the server keeps standard request logs (URL, truncated IP, user-agent) for up to 30 days for performance debugging, and uses cookies for the analytics and advertising purposes described below.
Cookies & advertising
Kalera News shows ads through Google AdSense. Google and third-party vendors use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites on the Internet.
- Google's advertising cookies let Google and its partners serve ads that are more relevant to you.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party cookies at aboutads.info / youronlinechoices.eu.
- For details on how Google uses information from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
For visitors in the EU / EEA / UK, Kalera News applies a consent mechanism in line with Google's EU User Consent Policy before setting non-essential advertising cookies.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4 and PostHog to measure traffic in aggregate. These tools may set cookies or store an anonymous identifier in your browser to distinguish sessions; they are not used to collect personally identifying information. You can opt out via an ad blocker or the Do Not Track signal.
External integrations
When you subscribe, your data is forwarded to Mautic (newsletter CRM, hosted by Kalera) and Activepieces (workflow automation, hosted by Kalera). Both run inside Kalera's trust boundary.
Your rights
You may request to see the data Kalera holds about you, to correct it, or to delete it entirely (right to be forgotten). Email [email protected]; Kalera responds within 7 working days. See also the data deletion instructions.

Meta Platform Integration
This section concerns Kalera's internal Meta App (used by the Sylvie automation agent to publish to Facebook Page, Instagram Business, and Threads accounts that Kalera administers, and to read Meta Ads performance for ad accounts Kalera administers). It is distinct from the public news-site policy above and is not available for public registration. Data collected through Meta APIs is stored on Kalera-controlled servers, used solely for content scheduling, publishing, and analytics, and is never shared with third parties or sold. Deletion on request — see /data-deletion. Contact: [email protected].
